For those in the Chicago area that have not seen Tributasaurus, I would recommend checking them out. I've known about the band for years and have shared the bill with the occasional member at gigs from time to time, but I finally made the trip to check them out last night at the Park West.
The contept is pretty neat for a "tribute" band, actually. The band does about 12 shows a year and each month they "become" a different band. One week they'll be Pink Floyd, the next they'll be Sly and the Family Stone. Week after that they'll be Yes, and the week after that they'll be AC-DC.
