Yesterday I was looking to switch it up a little bit. I went to my bone pile and pulled out the Blues Brothers.

Man, what a great CD! I had forgotten.
It's in my bass trainer right now and I"ve been having a blast with it.
That is all!

The live CD is what I have in my car right now. You're absolutely right, Mr. Dunn is everything he's quacked up to be!

OK, that was a bad joke, but I couldn't help myself. Yes, he plays some tasty great bass lines, not just on the Blues Brothers covers but especially on his work with Booker T and the MG's and his session work for Stax.

Yeah, I suck, I know that. But at least I suck a little less than I did yesterday.

Ive got all the blues brothers stuff too.

It bugs me when people go on about them being "sell outs", but they brought back the blues to the main stream, and some damned good musicians were involved!

B-Movie Boxcar Blues,
She caught the KT,
Rubber Biscuit.
and of course Soul Man

All so good! So are the rest of the tracks.

I highly recommend "The Best Of The Blues Brothers" DVD, has some live performances and the SNL bits, good stuff
