I have moved to Seattle and just got my apartment. Anyone around here know of any good places for some open mics or jams? I am in the University district of that helps at all. Thank you!

Pick up a Stranger newspaper (weekly arts/music rag) and look for the live music schedules, you'll see many clubs that list open mic nights. Hardly any clubs in University area tho, might have to drive a little ways.

The Wilde Rover is a great Irish Pub across the lake in Kirkland - they have a nice jam on Tuesday nights.
