My band, Ara'Kus (
| Ara'Kus Productions, Aeterno Elementum) will be performing next Friday and Saturday -
August 26th and 27th in the
Historic Everett Theatre. Doors will be opening at 7:30pm and the
performance will begin at 8:30pm! This is a Pay What You Can event!
Meaning, you come, walk into the door when it opens, find yourself a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the show. Afterwards, you let us know how much you liked it.
This show has something for everyone. We are, at heart, a heavy metal band telling a chilling tale of the idea of a pure race of people gone awry. While the band performs the music that tells some of this fantasy, there are many other aspects that make our performance immersive. There is dialog from the instruments of man's downfall, on stage fight scenes, brought to you in part by the Seattle Knights (
Seattle Knights (Information)). There is also an aerialist, fire dancing and other outstanding performances (such as classical renditions on acoustic guitar and keyboard).
Ara'Kus, musically, is not just guitars screaming and drums beating. We have a full chorus, and a small string section performing with us. We have two
outstanding lead sopranos who alone are worth making the trip to see.
Truly something for everyone who has a taste for music, theatre or performance of all kinds.
Come see us one of, or both, nights. Bring your friends. Spread the word. This will be our best performance to date, and we all are extremely excited to put it on for your enjoyment.
