Actually, we've been here for a few days already. My wife and I drove from Michigan to attend the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) conference. The city is beautiful and the drive took us through the Badlands, Yellowstone and along the Columbia River Gorge.
I also was able to spend a little time at Bass NW. I went there in hopes of picking up the highly-touted 3-Leaf Groove Regulator, but there were none to be had. However, Spencer! himself was there. He was busy checking out basses and amps and I didn't want to bother him with a bunch of questions, but I was able to hear him play for a bit. Not only does he know envelope filter circuitry........he can really play.
Hopefully I'll be able to spend a little more time there before we head back to Michigan and until then, I'll continue my GR search.
Also, do any of you local to the Seattle area have recommendations for good places to eat or hear some good bands?
