Seeking help from German bass experts

Hi, I'm a student living in Germany for the year and I am doing a dissertation on the history of German guitar and bass manufactor in the 20th century. Alas I have encountered a slight problem, I'm trying to find some literature (in German) about the subject. I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a book, or any German luthiers who would be willing to be interviewed.

I am no expert on anything but I would suggest going to warwicks website. I am pretty sure they are based in Germany

Warwick indeed originated in Germany, and is related to Framus, another German manufacturer. Klira is also German, IIRC, as is Basslab, Hofner & Hoyer. Just what bubbles to the top of my head...
