Guitarist-Bassist-DJ w/drum machine

and if noone's seen anything like it, why not?
if the tech exists for hiphop and techno, why isn't it used in other settings? (eg rock, blues, jazz)

Most electro bands have this kind of setup.

I've seen a trio with piano, guitar and beatbox. Here's one clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CabLtXn4qw

That beatboxer is amazing. He keeps it a bit simple in this clip, he showoffed much more when they played in "my" jazzclub. Btw, the pianist is probably the most well-known Finnish jazz pianist and is signed by blue records.
