Session Bassist Rates (US & Canada)

Hi guys,

Can anybody help me determine fair session rates for bassist?

I'm wondering about non-A-list players? Per song? Per hour? Mainly in Canadian centers like Vancouver and Toronto.

TIA,
Terri

IME, there is no rate if you're talking about non-union dates.

Tends to come down to what the employer can afford, vs what your reputation is worth. And how willing you are to walk away from the date if it doesn't pay enough...
