I'm completely unfamiliar to a lot of those songs on your list. On the other hand, I'm on the other side of the Atlantic pond and all what that means......

I don't know if I would call the it straight-ahead rock, but I like the mix of rock and soul, it works well with most audiences. We have a pretty similar approach, but perhaps with a bit more focus on rock.
Here's the setlist from my band's last gig, a party with 007-theme. We had to cut it down a bit but anyway:
You know my name - Chris Cornell
Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Mustang Sally - Wilson Pickett
I wanna hold your hand - Beatles
Burning Love - Elvis
Just The Way You Are - Billy Joel
Take it easy - Eagles
Blue Suede Shoes
Tutti Frutti
Stand by me - Ben E King
Hungry Heart - Bruce Springsteen
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams
The only thing that looks good on me is you - Bryan Adams
I shot the sheriff - Marley / Clapton
Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
Ain't no mountain high enough - Marvin Gaye
Georgy Porgy - Toto
Route 66
Tush - ZZ Top
Proud Mary - CCR / Tina Turner
Jumping Jack Flash - Rolling Stones
Angels - Robbie Williams
A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
Let me entertain you - Robbie Williams
Long Train Running - Doobie Brothers
Somebody - Bryan Adams
I feel good - James Brown
Suspicious minds - Elvis
Dancing in the dark - Bruce Springsteen
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
Born to be wild - Steppenwolf
Knocking on Heaven's Door - Dylan
Purple Rain - Prince
Extras (if they would have been needed):
Sweet home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Drive my car - Beatles (rather funky version)
Teddy Bear - Elvis
Beautiful Day - U2
It's probably me - Sting (slow funk, own version)
Wonderful Tonight - Clapton
We got a very good feedback from the gig and it was a blast to play.

The song selection for a gig is based primarily on the expected type of audience and what I know I can sing. (By the way I removed some songs in my mother tongue Swedish that you wouldn't know anyway

). For this gig, they asked us if we could play some AC/DC, but since I know I can't sing that well, we replaced that part with some other raw rock songs and nobody missed the AC/DC songs...
