I know the clip wasn't about the bassist but still.... All I got was an occasional 'click' from him. I actually notice he was there for 40 seconds or so....anyone else?

Displacement, anyone?
Once upon a time, Gary Grainger & Larry Bright did a bass & drums/rhythm section clinic here. For those that don't know, Bright is in the same mold as Dennis Chambers (& from Baltimore to boot).
Anyway, they played a groove together & "straight".
Then they played a groove with the drums displaced & the bass straight...then the groove was played with the drums straight & the bass displaced...finally bot drums & bass were displaced. Nasty stuff!

...rockin' tone from the guitar, I'd love to hear it in a better recording.

It's rare that you hear a chick play like that... normally they have better taste than that.

She's talented, but I can't stand that type of music. The Dennis Chambers & Gary Grainger vid on the other hand was great.
