Shipping Cost?

How much in general does it cost to ship a bass anywhere in the lower 48? Thanks.

It depends on the shipper, the weight,the size of the box and the distance. I just shipped a 5-string Ibanez in a hard case from Michigan to Boston via FedEx. That shipment cost me $25.

20-30$ I always frown on people asking for 40 -50, really they are just padding their lower asking price. But if it is a bass you want and the seller is charging more, then it is a compromise you have to make.

If you pack it yourself, you should be able to get it shipped for $50.00 or less anywhere in the contiguous 48.

actually with shipping prices going up it cost me $38 last time i shipped a bass from miami to san fran via fedex with an account, so not so accurate info.
