Shipping Traded Gear and Tracking Info Concerns and Questions

Sign in to disble this ad
Well usually I wouldn't post something like this but after what is happening to me on HC in the last week I have a concern on high dollar trades in general.
OK so here is my concern and question in the same breath. If you are trading a $1000 amp for a $1000 amp is it not safe to assume both parties should send the amps at the same time(or close enough) and provide each party with a tracking number? I am in the midst of a trade and the guy in question has been provided the tracking info by me but after 3 PM's I still haven't heard back from him let alone received a tracking number. At what point to I call the shipping company and reroute the package back to me to make sure I don't get scammed? His feedback is great and I have talked with him on other items but never traded with him and after a scam situation I am dealing with on HC I am weary of being put in a situation to be taken again.

If there is any suggestions out there I would most appreciate it. I have been giving the benefit of the doubt here but after 48 hours of no response can't afford to take a chance. I would like to think the feedback process here was to make safe selling/buying/trading but this has me really concerned(though HC has no feedback just references). Thanks for any help in advance!!!!!

Pm him with your concerns,I had a similar experience a while back on a trade deal on here where we both agreed to ship and the other party had recieved my end of the deal and had not even shipped his out to me.
Long story short I had to get aggressive in a PM which I dont like doing but it worked out and I will not do business with this member ever again, but keep sending PM's and voicing your concern but Maybe see if you can have your shipment held from being delivered until you hear from the other party and good luck!
