Short Padded Bass Strap???

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought my 10 yr old a bass that I'll be giving to him on his birthday in November. (Check it out here if you're curious Anyone tried the SX Ursa 3 JR 3/4 scale bass for kids?
It's a smaller bass, but the thing weighs as much as mine (nearly 10 lbs). I bought myself a thick padded strap (Planet Waves), but I believe it's just too long, even drawn up all the way, for him. I was wondering if any of you, for whatever reason, bought a shorter strap that was good for heavy basses? I know some people love playing their basses up high! So surely one of you kind ladies or gentlemen have a recommendation!
