Paying Close Attention to the Line Voltage. (Ya Can't Miss It)

It is always like this; at rehearsals and on gigs where there is a properly grounded outlet.

In this shot the Gemini is plugged into a surge protector that is plugged into an outlet with a 3 prong ground adapter; properly installed with the screw through the loop.

Should I be worried?

PS Sorry if this is the wrong Forum

[Crickets Chirping] Bump.

I'm concerned because the Line Voltage is at 90 instead of 110 (it appears to also be lit up at 110, LED issue?). What is the significance of that? Since I'm not an electrician I'm wondering what the cause of the problem is? Are they any precautions I need to be aware of? Am I going to damage my gear? Should I just google it?

I would RTM of the Gemini to understand the two LEDs. And Gemini is not a good brand in general.

I got it used with no manual, but I'll search around for one.

You are not the first person I've heard that from. My former keyboardist told me they were only good for DJ gear.

Haven't found a manual to the PL-201. The ones I have come across for the PL-01/02 have been a page long and not very helpful.

I've been coming up with some relevant material; here on TB and elsewhere, concerning voltage sag and problems associated with that although I'm not so sure that's what I'm experiencing.

I'm beginning to fret over this issue and am wondering how much of a worry it should be running my gear at less than sufficient line voltage levels. Would this be something that I could solve with a UPS?

I am considering a switch in power-conditioners to a Furman, but before then; Without killing myself is there a surefire way to confirm Line Voltage all of my situations; House and Gigs? Voltmeter perhaps?

Man all this makes my head spin and makes me consider an Electrical Engineering Degree just to understand all this.

The thing is, you've got a green light at 110. So that's as much reason to believe your power is fine, with zero sag, as the red light is cause for concern. Considering you say it's always like that at different locations, I'd lay money that the red LED is not saying you are at 90V, but rather that it is broken.

That is part of what is throwing me off. I'm wondering if there are any second opinions floating around out there.
