Should I Sell my Guitard Amp?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I finally got around to fixing my guitar amp--tubes were fine, just happened that the speaker jack needed to be replaced. That was a nice surprise. Anyway, since I've got it back I've cranked it when the house is empty. Stoner doom riffs in C for days. I am sure the neighbors are fully aware my amp is working again. I knew as soon as I got to play it again (haven't for over a year), I wouldn't want to sell it.

I was planning on selling it to pickup a QSC PLX2 1804, then sell the QSC PLX 1602, cause I'm adding a 2x10 to my setup. Should I try running my 1x12/1x12/2x10s with my 1602 in stereo first before I decide to sell my guitar amp, or should I definitely go for the 1804? The 1804 seems much better suited for my application.

I have an interview for a job this week...but money from paychecks definitely has to be saved for moving out.

I think you should sell the amp, and keep the money for emergency expenses. It should be a safe decision until you've settled into your new living arrangement.

Don't sell gear, Its too much fun, just save your cash.
Gear you have is cheaper to keep than replace.
