Should I be upset/worried?

I recently traded here on TB my stingray for a Lakland P5
I sent my bass UPS and he got it next day. I just did normal ups ground. He sent his bass to me USPS parcel post it still has not arrived 8 days later. I even included 50 bucks to sweeten the deal.
I made it clear I was sending UPS, and asked him to do likewise.

Should I be upset?

Ask him for the tracking number to trace the shipment. If he can't give (or won't) you a tracking number, then be upset.

Ive done that. Parcel Post has no tracking number and is considered below first class mail.
delivery estimates are 2-9 business days or whenever they feel like it.
I really dont doubt that he actually did mail the bass but I am irritated that he sent it that way.

I saw the ad for that LOG. Looks like a great bass. Soon enough you'll be enjoying it. He seemed like a straight up guy. I'm sure everything is on the up and up.

The USPS has not been doing a very good job, lately. My girlfriend and I order a few packages early this month and it took forever along with many phone calls to the company and usps. We still have not gotten some of them.

I finally got it today 8 days later.
I paid 31 fully insured
he paid 28 and it took 8 days.

Just note that next time you ship a bass NO USPS

I wouldnt be surprised if the other guy took a day or two to take it to the post office to ship. You did ask him to ship UPS, though, and Im assuming thats why you gave the guy an extra $50? For that you could be alittle upset, but Im sure your bass will arrive soon. (hopefully)

USPS won't even ship guitars here. They told me to take it elsewhere.

It took twelve days one time before teh guy got his stuff using Parcel post. You can get a delivery confermation and they can tracking by that if its been too long. Never use Parcel post if your selling something.

Was there a feature where you could see the seller's feedback? I bought a bass on Tuesday. I processed the payment via paypal at 12:30 PM. At 1:00 I received an email from the seller stating that he had shipped the bass. He provided a tracking number. I am in Massachusetts. The seller was in Ohio. He shipped regular ground on Tuesday and I had the bass on Thursday. Send the seller an email and ask him about it. Also confirm that the bass you shipped was delivered. You have his address so if you do not get the bass that he was supposed to ship, contact the police department in his area. Make sure you provide them with any emails you exchanged as well as receipts. Good luck.
