Should I Be Worried? (Ebay)

I bought/won it on Aug 19th and sent payment immediately. It's now Aug 22nd and the guy hasn't even accepted the payment yet. Should I be worried? This is $400 we're talking here.

Naturally we all get antsy when we send money out for ebay auctions. You have every right to worry about it. There is no problem with shooting the guy an email to make sure that he's alive and realizes that you have sent your payment. You won, you paid, now make sure he's got it straight.

I wouldn't sweat it yet man, he has 100% feedback and if you look through his other items it appears as though he is still active selling other stuff.... Just be patient, I've sold stuff before on ebay and not noticed for a few days when someone has paid.....

He would only have to "accept payment" if you payed by credit card, and he hasn't set up his account to accept cards yet (with the accompanying extra fees). He might not have realized this - I had one seller who didn't twig this, and actually sent the item out. About 2 months later the payment "expired", and I got an embarased email asking me to pay again (which I did!).

He's probably just away for a couple of days, or busy with REAL life - maybe he's figuring out how to ship it, and is putting of processing it until he can actually send it. Anyway you've not got much to worry about - If he hasn't taken payment he hasn't got your money yet!, so you've got nothing to loose.
