88 on the love sexy tour Prince played a benifit on the behalf of a kid who was killed be a car the careened into the line of people waiting to buy tickets to the arena show. It was in the Citi club on landsdown in Boston. It was a completely different show than centrum show the next day.The band just jammed,Head was 15 minutes long.

Although I was a child and have no real memory I was at the Stones concert at Sir Morgans Cove in Worcester... I'd like to see that one for real.....

+1

Unfortunately, the time I saw him was at the height of his troubles and it was less than good.

Only one so far was The Victor Wooten Band at toad's place (new haven ct) in June. I would go on a weekly basis if I could.

One show stands out in the last 40 years....

In the early 90's my wife and I saw the Moody Blues at the outdoor stage in the Woodlands north of Houston, backed by the Houston Symphony.

ABSOLUTELY memorable and magical. Nothing compares to the Moody Blues with a full orchestra backing them up.

I'm not into that type of music much anymore, but Warped Tour in 2005 was basically a who's who of my ipod at the time, and somewhat shaped my musical tastes for the next few years:

My Chemical Romance
The Offspring
Avenged Sevenfold
Saosin
Atreyu
Senses Fail
A Thorn for Every Heart
MXPX
Thrice
Transplants
Strung Out
Millencolin
Funeral for a Friend
Motion City Soundtrack
...Fall Out Boy (before they sucked ass.)

That whole day was awesome. Pretty much the last year that tour was worth a damn.

I would've loved to have seen/heard Roy play live.

Lollapalozza in Rhode Island in 1993-Tool, RATM, and Fishbone

Mighty Mighty Bosstones at Bowdoin College in (I think 1991)-This was back before they got big and it was the craziest show I've ever attented.
