Beatles 1965 Memphis Mid-South Coliseum. Would like to have been able to remove all the girls screaming, didn't hear alot of music. Mitch Ryder, The Cyrcle (Red Rubber Ball) and Bobby Hebb (Sunny) were some of the great opening acts.

+1 to Tool on the Undertow tour. Also the Primus show I saw last summer was pretty mind blowing.

Yep, I still have all mine. They're buried in a box in a closet.

Country Funk, The Allman Bros. (with Barry and Duane), and Pink Floyd. 8PM until 2:30AM. Four bucks.

For much of the Floyd's second set I was standing with my elbows on the stage literally at the feet of David Gilmour.

Yeah, I've never seen so many jaws hit the floor at once. I'd never even heard any of his music, but I'd read an article in Guitar Player about him, "The best unknown guitarist in the world", or something like that. So of course I grabbed all my muso mates and rocked on down to this club in Brisbane to see him. He was truly an astounding guitarist; what he could do with that Telecaster was amazing.

I always wonder what it would have been like if he'd taken the Stones up on their offer.
