Sick David Bowie FUNK Cover!!

Space Oddity (David Bowie Cover) - YouTube

So, my guitarist and drummer got together a few days ago and created this piece of funk insanity. David Bowie's Space Oddity as conceived by KC and Chino in a bathroom. Thus proving that if and when they put their minds to it, I as a bass player will become nothing more than a (extremely handsome) garnish.

I absolutely dug it!

Great acoustics in the head, right?

Your drummer reminds me of a street musician I once experienced in Georgetown, circa 1980...he was playing rhythms on the bulidlings, the metal rails...my gal pal's head, etc.

That rocks! I mean, FUNKS! If that were on a CD I would buy it - bathtub drums and all.

Very creative! However, I personally don't believe that this toilet-funk version of a timeless classic coincides well with the spirit and gravity of the lyrics. A bit too flip, in my opinion. What is it exactly that you're trying to say?

Heart Shaped Box (Nirvana funky house cover) by KC Roberts and the Live Revolution - YouTube

Squire 5-string with Bartolini's in action? Very nice job. Hurbert Eaves IV would approve.

HAHA! Yeah, man! Besides, how could I use my Vadim 5 at a Nirvana tribute? Good eyes, Headroom!

Gotta ask though, although I'm ecstatic to be mentioned in the same sentence as Hubert Eaves IV, does he use a Squier? I had no idea!

Glad you like it, Godfather. There's tons of videos of our band on youtube (check the liverev channel or search for 'KC Roberts'). If what you want is more of these cool intimate jams, we're recording a bunch with different configurations of the band starting this week and will release them steadily over the next couple of months while the crowdfunding of our new record is underway. I'll try to keep TB posted whenever there's something new.

Awesome job in the bathroom. Reminds me how I used to be younger and more spontanious. Keep up the good work, you never know it worked being a liitle different for Dred Zepplin. Also big props on the old school Led Zep poster!
