Sick of looking for a band...and want to start one.

Last weekend some local neighbourhood guy's my age put an ad in the local forum looking for musicians, so I answered. I suggested a bunch of simple songs for when they drummer comes and the two guitar guy's (buddy's) never gave me an indication they can play any songs at all...I sent an email of a list of songs I can play and when we jammed I played three original songs that they tried to play too....roughly. I still havn't gotten an email back after a few day's and we are suppose to play on Sunday...I've driven far and wide in Toronto and it's either guy's want to do 70's covers that I'm really not interested in spending weeks trying to learn a then they disband or it's wierd guitar guy's that can't keep time. I just wanted to post my experiences and say that I think it's time I took charge and just start my own band
