Similar website for guitars?

not sure where to post this... but anyway, I really like the format and "community feel" of this site. I bought a musicman bass in the classifieds and I'm very happy with the way the transaction went, and the bass itself of course. but I was wondering: is there a similar site/forum for electric guitars? cuz me no likey ebay.

lol if i could have a dollar for every time i saw a post like this i would be a rich man. There re many posts about this. Seems guitar forums don't have the same "community" talkbass has but you can try Ultimate Guitar.

no problem man, forum searches are never that good for finding this sort of stuff, they only realy work searching for a product or something like that.

thegearpage.net.....very upscale though....wont find MIM stuff there...mostly bootiques...

I like the Fender Forum. It's a pretty tightly run ship with very strict rules on posting and content so you don't get a lot of the kid stuff and name calling we see around here. I've met some really cool people thru that forum. I also recognize a few TBers who also post over there.

I just picked up a Fender Classic 50's P w/HSC over there for $375 shipped. The guy I bought it from is a guitar player and wanted to try bass. He only owned it for a couple weeks. I'll post here with pics when it arrives.
