Simplest bassline you've ever recorded?

As the title says, what's the simplest bassline you've ever recorded? Also, did it fit the song?

Here's one i did with my current band. Playing anything more would have ruined the song!

Sorry, but you'r bass sounds awful in the mix. Just my opinion. And you sound out of time in some parts. Maybe your guitarist is... Something sounds really wrong

The guitar is a bit out of time at places, yes. We only had 7 hours of studio time and were almost out when we got to doing the guitar parts, so it got a bit rushed.

How does my bass sound awful?

I don't think it sounds terrible. The recorded tone is pretty good (on higher notes) but I think you could benefit from some compression.

Now back on topic, I recorded "Just Like Heaven" for a cover demo.
