Ska/Reggae/Dub/Rocksteady rigs?

Now this isn't supposed to be a "THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST PLAY" thread, but what have you guys (and girls) noticed to be an ideal Jamaican setup?

Personally, for the slower groovier styles, I like either a P or a J with an Ampeg, turn the bass up please.

For more modern jams, I like the tone of a MM or Warwick going into a GK or Hartke.

But that's all just IMHO, FWIW, etc etc. What about everybody else?

BONUS! What about guitar amps/guitars? What makes you think of Red Stripe and The Specials?
