Slow the tempo

Sign in to disble this ad
So, does any music player have the chance of slowing down the tempo of the song? Im trying to master some of Jamiroquais riffs, but it would help a LOT if I could begin with a sllowweer ttteemmppoo... I just can't pick up with their fast paced songs.

Thanks

I think you can do it in Windows Media Player too.

It might sound like ass, but it's free.

Yeps, I tried it with Windows Media, and the quality was quite horrible. Jamiroquais Space Cowboys chorus sounded something like this:
C--Au-sE I--t-s BOINK Th---e R-etTSOINKt--ur-n, o-fff t-hhe Sp-Ac-eeDOINK CcCo-wbb--oy...
Very hard to follow, maybe Ill try the Audacity or Slowgold. Do they have any other functions aside the speeding up and slowing?

Haven't used the others but Best Practice also works. Speed and Pitch control and lets you loop.

the program "transcribe!" is made exactly for that. You can download a free trial. It is the best that I have used for this kind of thing.

I use this plugin for WinAmp.

Haven't tried it with CD's but at least with mp3s works like a charm.

And +1 for Transcribe!, great program.
