I was wondering, who was the bassist on Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal?

| | | | Louis E. Johnson aka 'Thunder Thumbs' of The Brothers Johnson played bass on some songs from Michael Jackson's albums Off the Wall, Thriller and Dangerous.
Interestingly, Steve Lukather of Toto played Guitar and Bass on Beat It. Eddie Van Halen did the guitar solo on Beat It. Paul Jackson, Jr. also played guitar on Beat It.

| All the Stock, Aitken, and Waterman stuff used to have "A. Linn" credited as the drummer on their productions.... that of course, would be a Linn drum machine.
