So I just listened to Muse's latest collaboration...

And I'm very disappointed.

It's a song called "Who Knows Who" that they did with a British rap group called The Streets. They say that they attempted to do a "British RATM" song, and the instrumental part succeeded (it's basically a more headbanging version of Heartbreaker), but the lyrics and the style are a horrible turn off.

So I think Muse themselves still have it, but this was a mistake in my mind. It would have been much better if Matt had done a distorted vocal track himself.

Anyway, here's the link, so you can decide for yourself.

The Streets is actually one guy, Mike Skinner. I'm sure someone from the UK can explain better, but I believe he's what you could call a "chav". As an aficionado of British culture, I find him to be an ugly sore on the backsisde of music scene. The instrumentation was pretty good though; sounds like Wolstenholme's electric upright in the beginning.

I consider myself a Muse fan and I couldn't even listen to all that.
