My band, joker, has been selected to play a band in the upcoming disney (i think) movie Will. We're going to play the main rival band called The Glory Dogs. The really cool thing about it is that I actually am playing the bass parts in the studio also, so I think it will be a very good learning experience. I've already had two days of practice, with a sax player and singer i have never played with before, but they are all really good so I'm happy. |

Scott is the singer in my band. I don't know when it is going to come out yet, but I will keep you guys updated. |

Plot outline: Will centers on a high school outcast and a popular girl who form an unlikely bond through their shared love of music. Assembling a like-minded crew of misfits, the friends form a rock group and perform in the battle of the bands competition at their school.
Wow, so your band is like a major part of the story.

BTW, I've been to Austin twice in the past 6 months -- once for a 'battle of the corporate bands' at Summer NAMM, and a couple of weeks ago on business. Fun town. Last time I was there I took a 2-hour bass lesson from Ed Friedland. He's a great instructor if you ever need one. ( http://www.edfriedland.com).
