Any bass stores I need to see? Regular music stores, too. I don't have a car but could take a limo if necessary. I'm downtown, so walking is good, too.

Apple Music (SW Portland) - Mesa/Boogie, PRS, Rickenbacker, Gibson, Victoria; They have a well-stocked acoustic store adjoining the electric store with Larivee, Breedlove, Goodall, Taylor, Lowden, etc.
Pioneer Music (SW Portland) – for high-end acoustics.
Portland Music (SE Portland) - Fender gear (including custom shop amps) Gibson, Gretsch, Godin.

Their selection is terrible, BUT a few days ago I noticed they had a very heavily modified Ric that might amuse you. |

In Montana they have signs over bars that say,"Before engaging your mouth, make sure your mind is in gear!"

Or you could come to my place and play my Ritter...

They carry Lakland, Eden, Mesa, Bag End, Orange, and some others. Their stock was a little low because they just wrapped up their end-of-year (fiscal) sale. Nice guys, decent prices. He's got a couple used-in-new-condition Eden D-410XSTs for $695 each. They're in perfect condition, but they're early ones with only the banana plugs (no Neutrik). Good deal, actually.
