So we were putting up our tree this year with the kids and John Lennons "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" comes on the radio.

MY GOD listen to the chorus and tell I am not the only one that can hear Yoko Ono killing it. Not in a good way.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUCbZhIfQbA

I can see it now in the studio.

John: Hey Yoko, I am going to grab a sammich. Can you add your vocals on the chorus while I am gone? Great. See you.

Fast Forward one hour.

Yoko: Hey John, we finished the chorus and the producer really liked my singing.

John: Alright lets hear it.

Engineer rolls tape.

John: Hey Yoko. You did a great job (how in the world did I agree to let her actually sing.....geesh.....I'd rather have Ringo here singing) I have a great idea. How about we get the local childrens choir to sing in the background to mask ou......I mean fill out the chorus?

The rest is history.

I can agree with you on Yoko Ono's lack of vocal talent.

Her talent for being still stuck in 1970's fashion and being annoying are unmatched.

"So it's time for X-Mas music again"

I thought this was going to ba a "jeez... can't even pump gas without this stuff being crammed down my throat, do we really have to put it in the set list?" thread.

Funny though.
