I had four our my windsurf boards stolen off my van one night and I never found a trace of them. That was 10 years ago and I still keep an eye out for them today, always wondering who got them.
Glad you're getting your gear back. |

I've never seen even a trace of my stolen gear; all though none of it was particularly valuable (compared to what i have (and insure!) now) it would be nice to have it back, for sentimental reasons.

I'm sorry to hear that your bass was stolen, but it sounds like you have a solid resolution, at least with finding the thief and getting him or her punished! I say make an example of this lowlife. Press charges to whatever extent is possible.
Please let us know if you get your axe back.
Good luck,
Joel

Glad to hear You'll get your bass back.
And even happier (no offense) that scumbags like that will be inside looking out.
Takes karma and justice into a whole new level I think.
To be honest though, waiting stuff to "cool down" for a month, those idiots had it coming sooner or later. Good thing it was sooner, and You're the one who got them busted and got your stuff back.
Regards
