It's just become so cliched that I actually find it funny when I go to a show and a band starts setting up and they all have pirate beards. I hope this fad goes away soon because it is getting a little ridiculous.
BTW... just to show I'm not a beard hater, this was me in 2005:

According to the guy at the BMV there are quite a few men who get new licenses and are VERY unhappy. As if there aren't other things in the world to worry about than whether someone thinks you are gay because you have a pink license....

I just don't get it why nearly all metal musicians and fans gotta have long hair. Nothing wrong with it in theory, but 99/100 men really look like sh*t with long hair. Off the top of my head I only remember one guy who looks good with long hair, and he's not even a metalhead. If you don't have really nice hair, keep it short!

Musicians should have beards! | Yes. Musicians are unique individualists. They should definitely try and all looks the same.
The unkempt beard thing works great for the Taliban and they are unique individualists, so why not? |

Don't they know how much cooler it would be if the just had legs without knees? Then we wouldn't have all this manic jumping all over the stage crap. Like knees, that adds nothing to the music.
