Song lyrics about zombies eating brains?

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's a funny one- I was "mindlessly" working today and wrote a song while I worked, it's a zombie love song about eating brains. It's actually pretty good IMO, but I have a sneaking suspicion that somebody out there must already have written a very similar song. Maybe I even heard it once, and just "wrote it" today from a vague memory. With all the horror rock, dinosaur rock, hot rod garage-a-billy, goth, black metal, etc. etc., Cramps, Misfits, Alice Cooper, Rocket From the Crypt and so on, there has to be some songs about brain eating, right?

Any of you fans of those genres able to name (or better yet link) those songs? I'd like to be sure I'm not just re-hashing somebody else's lyrics.

A video of my band Ten Thousand Dollar Ego, playing the first song we wrote, The Zombie Virus. It's kinda like a Dead Kennedy's song, and is with our old drummer. (the band has since progressed a lot, but it's always fun to play that song!)

A Jonathan Coulton song called Re: Your Brains, about a co-worker who's now a zombie. I love this song!

Well, I appreciate that it's probably got zombies, but is there a song on there about eating brains?

Track 13: Braineaters.

56 seconds of gang-hollering, brain-munching goodness.

Pretty everything ever recorded by Send More Paramedics is about eating brains. In fact, they have a cracking song on the first album called Zombie Sweetheart, sung from the pov of a zombie to his still living lover. I think this band were amazing. \m/
