with songs that have lyrics the song name usually is in the song but with songs that dont have lyrics does the name of the song have to pertain to the song?

Yes, since it can paint an image in your mind wha the song is about, as you listen to it.

It's also handy to make sure that the name of the song is something catchy so that the listener remembers it when it comes time for him to decide how to spend his dollars....
