Songs that have made you want to cry... for better or worse

I just bought Hadrien Feraud's album and it's amazing. But one song, Maire Ael, was absolutely stunning. No other song has ever brought me so close to tears. Actually no song at all has ever made me want to cry until this one. It is beautiful.

Of course, being a man I didn't dare shed a tear but I was close

Hate the song itself because it's turned into a tacky cliched wedding song, but the lyrics to Luther van Dross's "Dance With My Father" really get to me, very sad.

Well, seeing as the TB community is generally of a more... seasoned group then this teenager , this might not appeal to many. However, if you have suffered from depression or addiction or a combination of both, the lyrics really speak to you. Poetic Tragedy by The Used. Give it a try, but it is definitely not for everyone

Robert Wyatt's version of "Shipbuilding".

Not exactly a bawler, but emotional just the same.

I can't STAND that song. Not because the song itself is bad but because it's sooooo sad . No matter what situation you play this song in, if you're having fun, the fun dies right there.
