I Got The Music In Me - Helen Reddy

Amazing track, amazing vocalist. Some nice funky bass runs around the later choruses if you listen out for them . I would have loved to have heard this done by Tina Turner with the Ikettes and that s**t of an ex-husband of hers.

Speaking of which:
Live Performance German TV Show 1971 - River Deep Mountain High - Ike & Tina Turner

Baby Get It On - From the Midnight Special 1975 - Ike & Tina Turner

Hello Mr. Heartache by the Dixie Chicks. The kind of song that just makes you smile to play.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits. It's what a guitar should sound like.

+1 to "Walkin' in Rhythm" and "Heroes."

So many!
"Young Americans"
"Let's Get It On"
"I'll Be Good To You" (Bros. Johnson)

So very many.

I will say that PLAYING Jimmy Smith's "Back At the Chicken Shack" with my trio is the cure for the worst day. We lock in and swing that sucker till we get permagrins. No lie.

All American Rejects have some catchy tunes. Guilty pleasure I guess.

"I Love You More Today" by Spiral Staircase. REALLY swingin' bass track, and very "up" and positive lyrics. A great one to play at weddings, too.

Green Eyed Lady / Sugarloaf ..... (and has a great bass line!)
Jump into the Fire / Harry Nilsson ..... (also has a cool bass line)
I had too much to Dream / Electric Prunes
White Rabbit / Jefferson Airplane
Troglodyte / Jimmy Castor Bunch

Pretty much any music of the late 60's psychedelic rock & early 70's will do.
