I've been getting into sites of universities which offer careers in Music technology and Sonic Arts, but I don't exactly understand these careers or what one can do with them... does anyone know better?

Thanks, Gnome.

Bascially recording studio and music production stuff. You can be a studio engineer, producer and so on.

I have my degree in recording industry studies, i think probably pretty similiar to what your talking about. Yea basically studio engineer, producer, work for a gear company, promotions, record label, booking company....something like that. Not all that useful since theres not very many of those jobs out there, and the ones that have them keep them. Not very high paying either. If you wanna get into engineering thats fine, but if you want to get into the music business major in business and minor in something music probably.
