Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST-122's are finally available

Just got my email this morning. Anodized aluminum cases in silver and black versions are available now, and from the text in my email, looks like they added some functionality as well:

In addition to the aluminum case, we have added a few new features:

Comes with built in tunings for pedal steel guitar both E9 and E6, for either the Newman or Emmons system.
The PSG tunings have all the offsets for the open strings and the pedals and levers, and it shows the string and pedal combination on the display.
There is a 1/4-20 screw thread on the back of the tuner so it can be mounted to mic stands and pedal steel guitar legs. Note that there is no mounting hardware included.
Temperaments can be adjusted for different roots (any note of the chromatic scale can be the root) and the base reference for the temperament can be set to either A or the root.
You can store a total of 24 temperaments.
The tuner comes in a foam lined hard-shell case.
For more information, you can download the manual here: http://www.turbo-tuner.com/media/st1...ual_prelim.pdf

Link to order here (posted because I couldn't find it from their home page earlier): https://www.turbo-tuner.com/secure/s...orm_t122a.html

The downside is that the price has gone up a bit ($165 from $129). Still, I'm excited that it's finally available after well over a year of delays. Already got my order in!

Cool! Looks like the new case is more compact than the original one I have.

GREAT tuner. I use my stomp version on the gig between the bass and amp, and have the 'amp top' version set up in my rehearsal space for quick tuning using the mic.

Best tuners on the planet, but far. Amazing how that thing tracks the open low B virtually in real time even using the mic.

I had hoped they would use this upgrade version to add the display from the ST-200 -- ie having the note displayed within the strobe (in addition to the small LCD screen).

That would've turned this from a "maybe someday" to an "ordered with expedited shipping".

I agree completely. Although I love my tuner, if they want to get another $165 from me, that's what they need to do. I'd upgrade mine pronto.

The only drawback at all of the original tuner is that the note name is tough to read on the LCD screen. I fantasize about a big ole note display in the middle of the strobe.

That said, I gotta point out a bit of great customer service on their part. I've owned my tuner for over a year now, and the battery cover recently broke. I shot them an email hoping to be able to buy a replacement, and they sent me a replacement right away, no charge, no questions asked. Very nice.

I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but are these tuners only available through their site?
