I was just watching De Palmas.. Carrie.. one of the amazingly creative 70,s thriller horrors...not so common these days are they great...but music as its parallel i think was just as ground breaking..thats what got me thinking......With bands like Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Chic, Donny and many others...Although the UK and a few other countries brought out some fantastic stuff, the US were really pioneers of the music i love..This age seemed to be such a special time...
Obviously there are many differences in todays world..be it the internet, TV shows.politicaly.... I often think Prince is the last of the Mega POP legends.. who else is there?.. watered down semi talent from the TV...The fast food of musical nourishment...
Some say im getting old.. but i think times are a changin..Like a can of worms, my thoughts spilling out..
