Spector Announces RX-GT Guitar for Winter NAMM

Sign in to disble this ad
I know this is usually a bass forum but was on the phone today with PJ from Spector and we got to talking about upcoming stuff for Winter NAMM and he told me Stuart had just sent him a picture of the new Rex guitar. I asked if he would send me the picture. So here it is. This is a USA made guitar. List is $2299.

Here are the specs: Set neck 22 frets, mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, EMG or Duncan pickups, optional flame or spalted top, tunamatic bridge with stop tail piece.

This is also going to be available in a bolt-on neck with 21frets with a list at $1999.

I always thought the Rex shape would lend itself well to a six stringer. That's a stunner. Nice to see a fixed bridge on it. Most Spector guitars I see are whammy infested.
