They are great basses though from what i read on talkbass
Dont let that discourage you & most importantly dont fall into the butt-rock purgatory!!

yeah, sting used a spector, and the police aren't entirely butt-rock. entirely.
now it seems the most visible bands with spectors are story of the year, shinedown, coheed and cambria, and judas priest. as far as i've seen.
is judas priest butt-metal? ...or...not? |

I still have a Czech Spector & I just picked up a USA NS-2J Bolt on. I'm pretty sure either of my 2 bands are not Butt-Rock. |
