The speed/frequency of TalkBass

I hung out here for a coupla years before taking a break last year. I'm back after about 15 months, and either my memory is failing me or - this place is moving Much faster these days.

I thought in the past I used to be able to keep up with All the threads. Now, as I observe the forum, it seems like the posts are coming at the speed of light. It's just not possible - for me - to read even a fraction of it.

Have the posts - and membership - grown significantly in the past year?

I too have noticed an increase in post quantity (at the expense of quality, I might add

) in recent months; particularly in OT.

If you ignore OT in your preferences it does move a great deal slower.

When I look for new post, OT is excluded.
I read OT when I have the time and I am bored...mostly on the weekend

I just use the "new post" link and I am able to keep up with that. If I'm looking for something specific I'll browse/search a particular forum.
