Spider Capo

I've been looking for the capo to ease transposing and keeping everything in tune, and the Spider Capo XXL seems intriguing.
But, I've found no Photo's, Reviews or Video's of a bassist using them, SO has anyone used one?

I saw a similar one on the Wikipedia article for capos a long time back.

Not much use for a bass sadly: looks like you'd need six strings and a (thin) guitar neck to use this, unless there's a bass version

I use a simple Dunlop capo on my acoustic because it's strung with lighter strings. On my electric (heavier strings), the capo doesn't really clamp down all that well.

Edit: apparently this is not a new concept: see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partial_capo (the url and text tag combo is not working @#$*% )

Rhythm guitar I use, dropped D, Cut and regular capos at the drop of a hat. See no need for a capo on the bass, just tell me the key you want me to play in and I'm set.

there is a bass version, but more a larger version of the capo, and my reason for wanting to use a capo, is for ease of playing lines in a higher Key, some of the songs have slap lines that lie heavily on open strings, so it's alot easier.
