Spot check ... what's playing right now? For me: Aston Barrett - Cobra Style: Lost Productions - Cobra Style (Disco Mix) You? |
Collected Works of John Dowland - Jakob Lindberg on the lute I've been on a classical listening streak lately. Been discovering lots of oddball but Very cool instruments from the Rennaisance and Baroque periods. Bass player that I am, I've become totally fascinated by this beastie - a theorbo. Had about 100 years or so of popularity and then dropped out of sight for the next couple centuries. And, of course, JS Bach was one of the ultimate writers of bass lines. A lot of those pieces work well on the same instrument Totally unrelated to the cover band we're working up right now, that's for sure |
korn - Follow the leader... Most likely to be followed by some Oomph! |
The Dead Weather - Horehound |
Hard Headed Woman with The Charlie Daniels Band from the album Blues Hat. |
oriental brothers band it's not actually oriental but african... but a rocking taste of highlife either way :) |
At this moment, Synaptic Plasticity by Blotted Science. Ridiculous (/awesome) stuff there. --Silvie |
Phineas & Ferb soundtrack- and it's not because I have little kids. :) :bassist: |

Back on topic. Earlier I pulled out the Yellow Jackets CD Like a River. I hadn't listened to it in a very long time. It's not something I want to put in every day, but it was a good listen today. |
Pick Me I'm Clean - Frank Zappa Take Care, Timbros. |
Sir Duke... one of the coolest ever Stevie songs. |
King Crimson - Starless |
B.B. King and John Lee Hooker doing "You Shook Me" |
In Between the Lines EP - The Feud And I'm going to try to learn In Between the Lines, tonight. Next I will be trying to get into Sick Puppies any suggestions of where to start? |
