Stage Cabinet Bass Hanger

Sign in to disble this ad
One of my favorite bass players, Dave LaRue use some type of hanger on his Ampeg cab so that he can just hang his bass there and needs no floor stand. I can't seem to find one on-line, anyone know what this could be, maybe he made it....?

String Swing. Just screw it into your amp head or cab. Of course, doesn't work so well with a mini rig.

I seem to recall a hanger setup that screws into your rack. It's comprised of a one space rack mount unit that has attach points for two hangers.

I used to use something like this:

String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger: Shop Accessories & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend

but it strapped around the entire amp or combo & extension cab.

Bit of a fuss to set up, and when I downsized to a single combo, not very useful...

It looks like you've found what you need, but Planet Waves also makes this: DAddarioPlanet Waves » Instrument Accessories > Parts & Accessorie » Guitar Rest

I haven't used it, but it was the first thing I thought of when I entered this thread.
