Standing waves and EQ

Sign in to disble this ad
Hiya, my room at home i practise in has a bad dose of the old standing wave syndrome at about 60Hz, what im wondering is shall i get an eq pedal so i can really isolate the offending fundamental freq (but i imagine that every multiple of 60Hz will still boom) or build a bass trap (helmholtz style). What would you guys do?!
Cheers
dori
