Thanks PJSim

In 1970, everybody wanted a "busy" bass so that's what we gave them and I had just joined Stevie and knew I had to try to live up to "Jamerson's Bar". Today, that many notes, sounds like "a bass player on crack". Also with age you learn you can get the same energy and emotional response with less and better placed notes. Thanks for enjoying "the energy of the
70's". Later.
Scott

Put together 'Sesame Street' and 'music' and Toots is the first person I think of. Love this clip of him and Stevie.

+1000 !!! Been reading this and all the associated threads for the last couple of hours and I'm inspired and knocked out by it all. It's great to learn "Who's on First" on music I've enjoyed and played (sometimes nightly) for years. My hat's off to the "unknown soldiers"!

I'm sure I saw that when I was a kid, but I don't remember it specifically. But it made me think: Was the show trying to just introduce Stevie's music to a younger audience, or did they assume the parents would be watching as well? Not that it matters, but I think about stuff like this.

Great clip, nonetheless!
