I've been digging this entire video. I found it on the Sadowsky homepage. The Sadowsky sounds great as expected, and it's totally gorgeous! (Candy Apple Red, heavily figured Birdseye Maple 4), but whats the Cherry burst 5 string being played? It's got TONS of growl and that I'm totally digging. Makes me miss my jazz bass. I thought it was a Valenti b/c of the headstock, but the bass has matching pickup covers so that threw me off.
Check out the video, you won't regret it! Such an honor to play such a gig.

The bass came through pretty good in the broadcast which was a bonus.
Now I hope to catch the beginning of the show to hear all the other great artists.

I don't doubt what you are saying whatsoever. But,Bill "the Buddha" Dickens played with Stevie recently for some political bash.He specifically asked for "that 9 string bass player".I seen a clip (youtube, maybe)on here a month or so ago. |

I'm more than familiar with how Billy got that gig.
It was get me that 7 string bass player(after Stevie couldn't reach Billy and it was Stevie's long time engineer,Dan E. Leak who got the message to Billy).
Here's Bill during his performance with Stevie Wonder during Obama's campaign. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmux9cgE3F0

I have a hard enough time playing the lines, let alone singing & playing it.
This is the first I've heard of her [I've read a bit about her...]-I'm looking into more of her work. Great sound. To see that she's playing a Czech-ease is pretty trippy.
