Still waiting for this to finally happen.

25 years and it's never happened. I have tuned my main bass hundreds and hundreds of times, just like most of you. It's a 4+1 headstoke.

What is the probability that someday I will finally tune it, and all 5 Tuners will be facing exactly in the same direction (I'm hoping for parallel to the 'stock). It will look like a product shot

Has this ever happened to you?

I've gotten four in a row in standard tuning before. About 15 degrees of parallel to the headstock.

I was kind of bored one day and put on a new set of strings. Then I spent way too much time not only making all the tuners line up, but making sure that each wrapped around the peg with exactly the same number of turns. Yup. I sure did.
