Stool

No, not that kind, but I saw one at my local music store that was just the right size for me (5'8") to sit and practice with. The guy doesn't remember where they got it, and doesn't wanna sell me one......

Let me describe it to you......

Okay: Imagine it being about 20 inches high, and the seat of it looks almost like the seat you would find on a tractor: butt-shaped and very ergonomically "kind" to that area of the body.

God, it felt great sitting in that thing, and what I have at home is too high and my feet do not rest comfortably on the floor, so that when I try to get into the proper position to practice, the lower part of my body is straining, because I'm on my tip-toes.....

My local music store guy calls that thing a "salon chair" but when I do a GOOGLE on that term, it brings up barber chairs and that is not what that is! It's a stool with a butt-shaped cup-seat, and I want one!

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Q

PS: Yes, I know I can use the kitchen chair, but it tends to make me wanna slump and a stool forces me to sit properly.

EDITED: Because the stool I am now using is 24" high (I estimated before). SORRY!
